How much air is suitable for the car?
The air is the small thing that we shouldn’t overlook it, because the air-pressure affects to the performance of the car and the safety when driving in high speed.
The suitable air-pressure for car, the front wheel and the rear wheel should have the air-pressure at 30 – 32 psi (Pound for Square Inch) for normal work. But if you have load with maximum passenger and the luggage in the trunk, you should increase the air-pressure of the front wheels to 33 – 35 psi and the rear wheels to 37 – 39 psi to be suitable with the loading weight. For the pickup truck, you should use more air-pressure than the car. If the pickup truck wasn’t loaded, the air-pressure should be at 36 – 38 psi and the rear wheels should be at 40 – 42 psi. If the pickup truck was loaded on the rear, the air-pressure on the rear wheel should be at 49 – 51 psi, to prevent the tire from being burst when driving in high speed.
In conclusion, the gripping capability of the tire will decrease if the air-pressure were too much. It will make the suspension hardened up. But if the air pressure were too little, the tire would be risky to be burst when driving in high speed.
It’s better that you check the tire regularly for at least 1 time a month and look for the leak for your safety.
